Maria Jose Murciano is the manager of Spanish Network for Rural Development (REDR). As a representative of the Spanish local action groups at national, European and worldwide level, she is an experienced professional in rural development policies. Since 1999 she is member of ELARD as representative of Spanish LAGs. At International level she is adviser in support and improvement of local development processes and establishment of dialogues between different governmental levels in a variety of countries, particularly LAC and Caucasus countries. She has promoted the signing of Agreements and Monitoring of Annual Operational Programmes with international institutions and bodies: Ministries of Agriculture in Spain, Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Honduras, FAO United Nations, IICA (Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture) and AECID (Spanish International Cooperation Agency), among others.
