Magda Porta is an expert with extensive experience on evaluation of public policies, specialised in the scope of rural development. The educational background includes an Advanced Degree in Zootechnics Engineering, a bachelor degree in European Livestock Production Management/Technology and a Master degree (curricular part) in Agricultural Economy and Rural Sociology. She has a very great deal of experience at local, national and European levels in evaluation of the rural development policy. In her professional course, she has coordinated numerous studies or integrated several multidisciplinary teams. Currently she is working as a national expert for the European Network for Rural Development (Contact Point and Evaluation Helpdesk). She has also been dedicating an effort exploring and proposing ways of overcoming the limitations of the quantification and interpretation of indicators and the assessment of results and impacts for the evaluation of the Local Development Strategies (LEADER/CLLD) and the Rural Development Programmes.
