Title of the proposed project Innovations in Wine Tourism
Brief summary of the project idea

Wine tourism is important segment of the growing trends in modern tourism. There are many wine areas in all parts of Europe, who developed excellent conditions for sustainable wine tourism. Some of them prosper even in the circumstances of the extreme competition. The aim of the project is to exchange the knowledge and learn from the good practices in innovative wine tourism. Content of the project will cover the most visible pillars of the modern wine tourism:

- Building the brand on the local specific wine varieties

- Supportive public infrastructure (hiking and biking)

- Attractive events and wine stories (upgrading the heritage)

- Innovative architecture and accommodation facilities

- Partnership in modern marketing

Outputs will contribute to the attractiveness of the wine routes.

Few LAGs with well-developed wine tourism will exchange their experience and knowledge to increase the quality and competitiveness of the wine tourist destinations.

Proposed objectives / target group and activities

Objectives: increase the attractiveness, implement the new innovation practices into the wine tourism sector

Activities: field trips and virtual exchange, introducing the best innovative practices in wine tourism, organising seminars and conference, develop common digital platform, based on the innovative wine tourism cases.
