György Mudri is an Agricultural Engineer majoring in genetics and biotechnology (Hungary and Germany - MSc). He has also obtained an NLD HBO Engineers Degree in International Rural Innovation and Development (The Netherlands - BSc). As an Advisor and Accredited Parliamentary Assistant (APA) of Mr Tibor Szanyi, Member of the European Parliament, he works with the committees on AGRI and ENVI. He is also an Elected Member of the APA Committee (the Official Representation of Assistants in the EP). In the EP, he led the coordination of the pilot project and the preparatory actions on smart villages and constantly contributes to their promotion. Before working in the European Parliament, he was a Candidate MEP. He has also worked as a Policy Officer at the European Commission (DG AGRI), Personal Secretary and later advisor to the Candidate Prime Minister in Hungary and Policy Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Hungary.
