Idea is under elaboration process. Main fields we would like to focus on are experience Exchange visits and workshops related to sacral tourism topics and arts, ancient crafts

Thee represented region, Latgale, Rezekne and Vilani Municipality, is a treasury of sacral objects and ancient crafts, cultural monuments. There are approximmately 37 churches and more than 30 ancient craftsment in the LAG's territory. Latvian history has been strongly influenced by Poland, many names of towns and people have Polish origin, regarding sacral life, our region is mainly catholic apart from the rest of the country, and several times a year service is being held in Polish. Therefore we are interested in strengthening the Latvian-Polish collaboration between LAGs, as well as we are interested in such countries as Portugal, which has strong catholic roots and develeoped sacral tourism offer.
