We would like to come in touch with FLAG projects to cooperate with, related to adding value to small scale coastal fisheries by diversification of products, new activities and tourism. We are also interested in projects that work to elevate the cultural importance of coastal small scale fishing, and projects that highlight the environmental challenges for the seas. |

This project aims to contribute to the development of profitable and developed professional coastal small scale fishing in Halland, which do not threaten the natural values. At present, both fishermen, anglers and other recreational fishermen experience that their knowledge are not valued in the management of stocks. The overall objective of the project is to allow different kinds of knowledge and professions to cooperate with each other in order to achieve the greatest possible benefit for the coastal society. Otherwise, we risk lowering a profession that has existed for generations, which has created life and attraction to communities along the entire coast of Halland. |
| Proposed objectives / target group and activities |
The target audience is the general public, waterowners, fishermen, decision makers and other actors that are important for the coastal fisheries. The goal is that they will receive increased knowledge about coastal small scale fishing in Halland. It is also important that we will provide support for increased development to small and medium-sized companies depended on fishing. |
